Making a difference in communities across Gicumbi - Byumba
The Back-to-School Bridge Initiative is a flagship education program by Imboni Generation aimed at reducing school dropout rates among vulnerable children in Rwanda, particularly in rural communities like Gicumbi District.
This project identifies out-of-school children and supports their reintegration into the education system through the provision of school materials, mentorship, and community-based follow-up. It also works closely with parents and local leaders to address the root causes of school dropout, including poverty, lack of awareness, and family challenges.
Through a holistic approach, the initiative ensures that every child not only returns to school but remains engaged, supported, and motivated to complete their education. The project contributes to building a more educated, empowered, and self-reliant generation.
