Imboni Generation is a youth-led organization restoring hope, dignity, and opportunity for vulnerable children and young people in Rwanda.

Born from lived experience and inspired by a single act of kindness, we transform struggle into service and vulnerability into leadership.

Key focus areas making a real difference in communities

Education Reintegration & Retention

Problem: Many children drop out of school due to financial hardship, lack of support, or social barriers.

Our Response: We provide school materials, mentorship, and reintegration support to help children return to school and continue their education.

Impact: Dozens of children have successfully resumed their education, regained confidence, and are progressing toward a brighter future.

Health Protection & Safeguarding

Problem: Vulnerable children and youth often lack access to basic healthcare and are at risk of abuse, neglect, or unsafe environments.

Our Response: We provide access to essential health services, promote preventive care, raise awareness on child protection, and create safe spaces for reporting and resolving issues.

Impact: Children and young people enjoy improved physical and mental health while growing up in safe, supportive environments where their rights are protected.

Leadership Values & Civic Responsibility

Problem: Many young people lack guidance, ethical grounding, and awareness of their role in society.

Our Response: We provide mentorship, life skills training, and community engagement opportunities that nurture leadership, instill strong values, and promote active civic participation.

Impact: Young people develop into responsible, values-driven leaders who actively contribute to their communities and inspire positive change.

Human Rights Protection

Problem: Many children face abuse, neglect, or social exclusion, with limited awareness of their rights.

Our Response: We raise awareness about children's rights, provide safe spaces to report abuse, and collaborate with families and local authorities to protect vulnerable youth.

Impact: Communities become safer, children feel protected, and young people grow up with dignity and security.
